Henna is a plant based colorant derived from the lawsonia plant. This Alderwood henna tone is intended to stain gray hair or light to medium brown hair. Always perform a strand test and an allergy test before applying any new shade to your entire head. The result of this shade may range from gold, to orange to light shrimp gold, depending on your own individual chemistry. If your strand test shows hints of too much orange, consider mixing this shade with equal parts Sycamorewood henna or Teakwood henna to balance the tone.
